Cottonwood Hills Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course that is open to the public at a daily fee. The course is a challenging tract with sand hill terrain and natural vegetation, very similar to the great links style courses of England, Scotland and Ireland. Cottonwood Hills was designed by one of the world’s premier architects, Sir Nick Faldo, who says its rolling sand hills and tumbling dunes remind him of the great Scottish courses where the game originated. As his lead architect, Guy Hockley teamed with Faldo to understand and take full advantage of the existing contour of the land. Their philosophy is simple, a golf course should look as natural as possible, taking full advantage of the existing terrain and topography. The course should challenge and inspire golfers to play their best, but most importantly it should follow the maxim that the finest courses are the ones that are also the most fun to play.
